Krish has always been a well acclaimed and respected director. But for the first time in his career, he is working with a true star, who can deliver at the Box Office. He will be directing Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th movie and this project, tentatively titled ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’, was formally launched in Amaravati recently.
The presence of a star and good buzz around a project can bring in solid business offers and even before shooting has started, good enquiries are coming in for this movie. For a director who is used to pulling the weight solely on his reputation and directorial skills, this has come as a welcome surprise.
In fact, Krish is so thrilled with the buzz and momentum around the project that he has resolved to work with big heroes more often in the future. NBK 100 will start rolling from May and the film will have an extensive shoot in Morocco.
Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music and Rajiv Reddy will be producing the movie on First Frame Entertainment banner, in association with Jagarlamudi Sai Babu.
