Star heroines choosing performance oriented roles and going deglam is all the rage in Tamil and Telugu. Shruthi Hassan has decided to go deglam in Naga Chaitanya’s next film and the latest one to join the bandwagon is Nayanatara.
Nayanatara is playing the female lead in Venky’s next which is being directed by Maruthi. The regular shooting commenced recently in Hyderabad and key scenes featuring the principal cast are being shot at present. Close sources to the unit revealed that Nayanatara is playing a simple brahmin girl and she is not paired opposite Venkatesh although she is the film’s leading lady. The source adds that Nayanatara will be seen without any makeup for most part of the film.
Titled as Babu Bangaram, Venkatesh will be seen as a funny cop in the film. Suryadevara Naga Vamshee is steamrolling the project
