Movie Artists’ Association (MAA) is in news yet again. There have been rumours about MAA executive team misusing and diverting funds. Urgent meeting is called for to discuss and sort out the issue.
There have been rumours on misusing funds collected and used during silver jubilee celebrations of MAA. As per these rumours, actor Shivaji Raja, Srikanth, Rajendra Prasad were involved in this. Actor Naresh, secretary of MAA, went to MAA office, verified records and reportedly locked the office. There have also been reports of altercation and heated arguments between Naresh and Rajendra Prasad during the meeting.
But after the meeting, that lasted for 4 hours, MAA members announced that they have “sorted out” the issues and Naresh is “convinced” after Shivaji Raja explained him the facts. Finally they have condemned all the “rumours” reported by media.
