Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Maharshi is slated for release on May 9th. As this is Mahesh’s 25th film, there was a lot of excitement in fans at the time of announcement. Though director Vamshi Paidipalli hasn’t delivered a big blockbuster in his career, the presence of star producers Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt has generated a good hype on this prestigious project.
With less than a month left, the promotional campaign of Maharshi is in full swing. The makers have unveiled two songs and a couple of teasers so far. Yesterday, they have released a brand new poster from the film. Unfortunately, these songs and posters haven’t received the desired response from Mahesh fans. The songs composed by DSP hardly created any hype on the album because of the mediocre tunes and lyrics. Also, the lackluster posters are not taking the buzz further.
The two teasers evoked a so-so response with nothing much rave about except Mahesh Babu’s screen presence. As the release date is fast approaching, the makers should quickly release the theatrical trailer which is the only way they can create good hype on the film.
