The first half of 2017 has some exciting lineup of films to entertain the audience. A bunch of highly anticipated big ticket films, which are currently in different stages of production, are going to hit the screens in the first six months next year. Already, senior top actors Chiru, Balayya, Nag and Venky are fast finishing their upcoming films which are slated to hit the screens in January. A couple of them might alter their release plans, nevertheless January is going to offer a film fest with atleast two of them gearing up to hit the screens for Sankranthi festival.

On the other side , current generation star heroes Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu are going to lock horns at the box office during Summer. Both of them are currently busy shooting for their upcoming films. While Mahesh is working with Murugadoss for an untitled bilingual, Pawan joined hands with Dolly for an action drama titled Katamarayudu. It is learnt that the makers of these two films are looking to release them in mid Summer. Sources say that both these films are likely to release in March with a gap of one week to ten days.

As Baahubali is confirmed to hit the screens on April 28th, both these films are looking to avoid clash with the magnum opus for a comfortable release. Also, Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham, which will start rolling shortly, is likely to enter the March fray.
