Talented director Maruthi has been one of the promising directors among the youngsters. After a shattering hit like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, he has been named in the list of top directors and he directed Venky’s Babu Bangaram which ended up as a decent mass entertainer. The director is currently on break and there have been rumours that he has been considered for the second film of Akkineni young hero Akhil.
The update is that Maruthi has been ready with an interesting story line which impressed Nag. It was then Vikram Kumar narrated a script and then Maruthi asked some time so that he can impress Akkineni family with the final draft. Maruthi is all set to direct the third film of Akhil which will start next year. In this gap, Maruthi will direct Haveesh for a movie and the pre-production work of the film is in process. He is also penning couple of scripts currently which will be directed by associates and produced by Maruthi Talkies banner.
