Nandamuri, Akkineni, Daggubati, Ghattmaneni and Konidela families made Telugu industry proud. With not stopping there, several youngsters from these families stepped out and proved their mettle in Telugu cinema. While Nandamuri family owns Ramakrishna Studios, Akkineni family has Annapurna Studios in the heart of the city. Ghattamaneni family owns Padmalaya Studios and Ramanaidu Studios owned by Daggubatis is one among the busiest studios in Hyderabad.
Mega family has been in plans to construct a lavish studio from the past few years but things did not materialize. Now Ram Charan is all set to make the dreams true. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie Syeraa is shooting across the outskirts of Hyderabad in Kokapet and massive sets have been erected across 22 acres. All this land is owned by Mega family and Ram Charan is in plans to construct a large film studio in the land right after the completion of Syeraa shoot. With over half a dozen Mega actors, they can shoot for their films in the studio which can bring hefty profits for Charan. Hope the plan of Mega project materializes soon.
