On the day YSRC Addanki MLA Gottipati Ravikumar joined TDP, Vijayawada MLA Jaleel Khan disclosed a curious piece of information to the media.

He said, of the MLAs participating in Jagahmohan Reddy’s ” Save Democracy’ campaign in New Delhi six to seven MLAs would leave the party once they return from New Delhi.

Jaleel Khan also left YSRC and joined TDP two months ago. According to Khan, Jagan’s campaign that Chandrababu Naidu had looted more than one lakh crore was a blatant lie.

Stating that Jagan was spreading misinformation about the TDP president, Jaleel Khan said Jagan’s inability to lead the party had thoroughly been exposed. “The YSRC will forfeit deposit in 2019,” Khan predicted adding that the Jagan’s dream of becoming chief minister would remain a distant dream.

Jaleel Khan says, even MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and MLC Prof Ummareddy Venkateswarlu also are waiting for an opportunity to cross the fence.

On the other side, Addanki YSRCP MLA Ravikumar joined the TDP along with number of followers in a program organized for it.

In a show of strength he came to Vijayawada with hundreds of followers. Chandrababu Naidu admitted him and his followers into the party by offering Yellow Kanduva. Many of the Ravi’s followers are sarpanches, single window chairmer, MPPs and ZPPs.

Chandrababu Naidu has succeeded in disturbing the YSRC in Prakasam district. The district, which emerged stronghold of YSRC in 2014 with 6 MLAs, is the next target of Naidu after Rayalaseema. Earlier, Yerragondapalem MLA Prathipadu David Raju deserted Jagan and joined TDP in February. Amid the talk that at three more MLAs from YSRC are likely to join the TDP, today Gottipati joined the party.
