TDP MP Konakalla Narayana has said that the Modi government is taking its revenge against AP and Telugu people only for political reasons. Modi is clearly afraid that his bid for a second term as PM will be stopped by CM Chandrababu Naidu at the national level.
Because of Naidu’s long track record in political field, AP CM is being seen as a major threat to the BJP’s election plans for 2019. Already, Naidu has proved TDP’s potential in marring BJP chances in Karnataka.
Moreover, Naidu is heading to incite anti-BJP sentiment among Telugus all over the country. The BJP leaders are stepping up criticism against Naidu but the TDP seems bent upon colliding with Team Modi head-on.
