One of the most unprofessional thing being an actor/actress is, not promoting the film before the release. Star heroine Nayantara has once again repeated it, as she hasn’t budged her no-promotions rule even for Megastar Chiranjeevi.
As the team of Sye Raa met the Mumbai media yesterday, at the teaser launch event, Nayantara’s presence is well needed as she happens to be the leading lady of the movie. But the actress has given a miss to the event as usual, as she never attends the promotional events of her movies.
With senior heroes like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and Venkatesh finding it difficult to get young heroines to romance them, they are going for Nayantara, who is clarifying them in advance that she won’t do promotions. She must have given an exception for Sye Raa for the kind of content the film has and for the hefty budget invested on it.
In contrast to this, Nayantara’s absence is not worrying Sye Raa team at any point. They are believing that her stardom can create an impact only in Tamil, but not in Telugu or Hindi.
