Young actor Nikhil scored some remarkable hits in the recent years. His last outings Ekkadaki Pothavu Chinnavada and Keshava have been commercial hits and the actor has interesting films lined up. The actor is currently in talks with Tamil makers of Kanithan for the remake. Earlier it was Ravi Teja who has been approached for the role however the latest update says that Nikhil has been locked in for the movie.
TN Santosh who directed the original will direct the film and the film’s director Kalaipuli S Thanu is keen on producing the Telugu version too. Nallamalapu Bujji and Tagore Madhu are quite interested to take over the project from Thanu. An official announcement is awaited. Nikhil also signed the remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party which will start rolling soon.
