We don’t have any issues with who was given the credit for Independence. But we’ve issues with who wasn’t given the credit. You need to watch the movie to know many unknown facts.”

Nikhil said, “It’s a new attempt. Every movie is a new journey. I believe that story is the hero of any movie. We launched the teaser at Netaji’s statue in Delhi. He’s the greatest freedom fighter. People don’t know or don’t talk about the sacrifices made by Azad Hind Fouj. We did lots of research, met ex-raw officials, and found solid evidence related to Netaji. Many freedom fighters were side-lined. They should also be glorified. Spy is a historical backdrop fictional story.

All characters are fictional. The theme of the movie is well-researched. We’re directly saying that Netaji’s death is a cover-up story. Many commission reports are inconclusive about his death. The nation should know it. I accepted this movie, before Karthikeya 2. Garry is capable of becoming a big director. We’re planning to release the movie in Bengal and Marathi as well. This movie won’t hurt anybody.”

The unit of Telugu film ‘Karthikeya 2’, featuring actor Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead, on Sunday released the first clue to its treasure hunt contest — ‘Karthikeya 2 Mystical Quest’– it had announced to promote its film.

Taking to Instagram, Actor Nikhil Siddhartha posted a video clip in which he gave out the first clue for those in Hyderabad.

The actor said: “As you all know, our film ‘Karthikeya 2’ releases on August 12. As in the first part, we go searching for answers to big mysteries and queries using clues in this part too. We thought we’d give you a taste of that.”

“We have come up with a treasure hunt contest called ‘Karthikeya 2 Quest’. For this contest, we have got four beautiful Sri Krishna idols made of pure gold, and kept them in four different cities — Vijayawada, Vizag, Tirupati and Hyderabad. We will test your intelligence. If you are able to solve this test and manage to crack the clues, the gold, worth lakhs, is yours.”

Asking participants to tag him and the production house among others, he said, “Hyderabad! Here’s the first clue to win Sri Krishna Gold Idol in the ‘Karthikeya Quest’: Vishwam Oka Poosala Dandaa Nidhi nee Bhagyam lo undi ante Bhagyanagarapu Nadiboddu lo unna Janala Poosala Dandani cheruko. Get searching,” he said and added, “You will find the second clue there which will lead to the gold.”

Watch: Intriguing Poster Of Karthikeya 2

It is known that Nikhil and Chandoo Mondeti are working on the sequel for Karthikeya. The project is titled Karthikeya 2. The first motion poster of Karthikeya 2 has been unveiled and it looks really intriguing and compelling. It suggests that Karthikeya 2 is based on the mysterious underwater town of Dwarakanagaram. 

The poster opens with an ocean backdrop and we then see Nikhil, Anupama Parameswaran, and comedian YSR sporting a puzzled look on their faces as they ride a boat. Nikhil and Anupama look sharp in the poster. 

“Samudram daachukunna athi pedda rahasyam… ee Dwarakanagaram” the dialogue in the motion poster reads and this hypes up the proceedings. The background score is a adrenaline-pumping and the curiosity is amped up nicely with excellent visuals. 

The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. People Media Factory and Abishek Agarwal Arts are jointly producing the film, which is billed to be the costliest film in Nikhil’s career. 

The motion poster gets the promotions off to the right start. Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher plays an important role in the film. Makers are planning to release on 22nd July 2022.

Riding on the success of two back to back hits – Swamy Ra Ra and Keshava- the success combination of director Sudheer Varma and actor Nikhil are coming together for the third time.

BVSN Prasad of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner will bankroll this film, which is the banner’s 32nd venture, on a lavish budget. Richard Prasad will take care of cinematography and Karthik will be in charge of the music department.

Billed to be an action entertainer, shooting for the movie will commence on November 1. The shoot will happen for 40 days in London, circles close to the movie’s team say.

It is learnt that all language satellite rights and other language dubbing rights of Karthikeya 2 have been sold out for Rs 20 crore. The makers are planning to release the movie on their own.

Starring Nikhil in the lead, Karthikeya 2, a sequel to Karthikeya, is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by People Media Factory and Abhishek Aggarwal banners.

Music for this suspense thriller is being composed by Kala Bhairava. The film has Anupama Parameswaran as lead actress.
