Tamil psychological crime thriller Ratsasan grabbed the eyeballs of South audience after it garnered rave reviews for its gripping portrayal and taut screen play. After its success at Tamil box office, filmmakers in other languages have been vying to grab the remake rights.
Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that Tollywood actor and producer Nithiin has snapped the remake rights for a good price. He is now planning to remake the thriller in Telugu according to the sensibilities of audience here. Ratsasan is about a faceoff between a dutiful cop and a ruthless psycho killer.
In Tamil Vishnu Vishal and Radha Ravi played the leading characters. It remains to be seen if Nithiin feels that his image and mannerisms will suit either of the two characters and plays one of them in Telugu. Or will he rope in some other actors for this film ? The latter option would be an ideal one. We have to wait and see what Nithiin chooses.
The cast and crew will be finalized very soon.
