Nithya Menen rejects Basavatarakam role in NTR biopic

The pre production activities of NTR’s biopic are in full swing and the makers are having a tough time in finalizing the cast for some of the notable characters which played a significant role in NTR’s personal life during his political heydays and charismatic cinema career.

It is heard that Teja has approached Nithya Menen to essay the role of NTR’s wife Basavatarakam in the film. Initially Nithya was interested to portray the role, but suddenly she turned down the offer without citing any reasons. Now, the team is search for a perfect lady who could fit the bill for the crucial role in the film. Balakrishna will play the lead role.

Eponymously titled as NTR, the film will relive all the glorious moments in NTR’s life. The regular shooting will commence later this year.
