Akkineni’s young lad Akhil Akkineni disappointed the audience with his debut film Akhil. Though his performance along with his dance moves have been praised by many, the film failed to impress the audience. He is not in a hurry and signed his second film after a year after Akhil’s release. The pre-production work of the film is currently in final stages and Vikram Kumar will helm the movie. The film will be launched on January 14th during Sankranthi in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad.
Nagarjuna has been specially focused on Akhil’s second film and he will produce the movie on his own banner Annapurna Studios. Nag earlier worked with Vikram Kumar for Manam and he felt that Akhil is now in safe hands. He kept no budget limitations for the film and asked Vikram to come out with the best output. Megha Akash will play the female lead and AR Rahman will compose the music. This untitled movie is said to be a romantic entertainer.
