Legendary filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known to direct many classics of Indian cinema is back with his next outing Padmavati. Deepika Padukone essayed the role of Rani Padmini in the movie and Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari essayed other pivotal roles. The theatrical trailer of Padmavati has been out today and it can be called as the best visualized film among Bhansali’s flicks.
Deepika Padukone looks elegant and suits the role of a princess in the trailer. Shahid Kapoor has been apt but it is Ranveer Singh who steals the show. His daredevil eyes and deadly looks make a huge impact throughout the trailer. The music score shifts as per the film’s mood and it has been extremely good. On the whole, Padmavati trailer is spectacular and is a must watch.
Deepika uttering “Rajputi kangan mein utni hi taqat hai, jitni Rajputi talwar mein” will sure give goosebumps. Padmavati is the story of Rani Padmini (Deepika Padukone), Rawal Ratan Singh (Shahid Kapoor) and Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh) that took place in 1303. Padmavati has been slated for November 1st release.
