After 2018 and ARM, Malayalam star Tovino Thomas continues to strengthen his pan-Indian presence with his prestigious upcoming film “Pallichattambi.” The trailer has been unveiled, offering a peek into an intense period action drama set in the 1950s and 1960s.
It opens with a voiceover that introduces the setting, where the head priest of Kunnumpuram’s church urges the villagers to find a powerful enforcer to defend them against ongoing oppression. This leads to the introduction of the central character, portrayed by Tovino Thomas, who appears as a formidable and rugged fighter capable of taking on multiple opponents.
The trailer also shows him training the villagers in self-defense, while a ruthless police officer threatens to destroy their community. Packed with high-energy action and dramatic tension, the visuals hint at a raw and gripping storyline. With its stylized presentation and moments of conflict, the film promises a powerful mass entertainer, showcasing Tovino in a bold new avatar under the direction of the filmmaker behind Jana Gana Mana.
The film also stars Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, Prashanth Alexander, and others. Pallichattambi releasing worldwide on April 10th in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
