After striking the right chord with the Telugu and Tamil audience, the recently released emotional tale Oopiri is set to be remade in Hindi very soon. Reportedly, popular Bollywood producer Karan Johar bagged the remake rights for a hefty price and is looking to rope in two leading actors to play the lead roles.
The Vamshi Paidipalli directional impressed all sections of audience for its beautiful camaraderie between Nagarjuna and Karthi. The heart touching scenes and the impressive narration helped the film big-time to notch up solid figures in the first weekend. An official remake of French drama The Intouchables, Oopiri features Tamannaah and Anushka in crucial roles.
Prasad V Potluri produced the film and Gopi Sundar composed the soundtrack.
