Ignoring uncertainty of party’s prospects to return to power in Telangana state, several of its senior leaders started openly aspiring their strong intention to become Chief Minister of the state, after 2019 polls.

The ruling TRS is succeeding in expanding its influence since last two years. Chief Minister K Chandrasekahr Rao succeeding in weakening opposition parties by encouraging large scale defections into the party. Except some symbolic protests and media events the Congress party failing to intrude into people’s hearts.

Moreover, the Congress leadership is divided in the state. However, most of the leaders started aspiring to be Chief Minister of the state in the event of party returns to power in 2019 polls. Though none of them having any `magic formula’ to return to power in the newly created state, only blind faith of `anti-incumbency’ making them to aspire for some wonders.

Party senior leader and former minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy is the fresh claimant for Chief Minister Position. He asserted that he would be the Chief Ministerial candidate of Congress in case the party wins 2019 Assembly elections.

Speaking to party workers at Kaddam mandal of Nirmal district, the Congress MLA expressed confidence that the congress party would storm to power in 2019 as the people of the state are fed up with the mis-governance of TRS government.

Very recently, leader of opposition in the state assembly K Jana Reddy, who had announced he would not contest in the polls hereafter, also announced he would be normal choice for Chief Minister Position, if the party returns into power. No other leader has long ministerial experience like him in united Andhra Pradesh form any party. There are not isolated claimers for high position.
