Tollywood’s top director SS Rajamouli and Bollywood’s top actor Ajay Devgn share a special bonding with each other. Ajay Devgn lent his voice for the Hindi version of Eega which released as Makkhi. Ajay is also playing a crucial and powerful role in Rajamouli’s upcoming action entertainer RRR. Ajay Devgn was extremely puzzled about the shoot of his next film Mayday after the arrival of coronavirus pandemic. It is then Rajamouli suggested Ajay Devgn to shoot for the film in Hyderabad and Rajamouli suggested that his art director Sabu Cyril will help Devgn over the sets. Massive sets are constructed in Ramoji Film City and the major portions of the shoot will be completed in these sets.
Sabu Cyril and Ajay Devgn worked for six months to get the right sets for this interesting film. Mayday is directed and produced by Ajay Devgn and it features Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh apart from Ajay playing the other lead role. All the three lead actors will be seen playing the roles of fighter pilots in Mayday. The actor was shooting for Bhuj: The Pride of India and was focused on the construction of the sets for Mayday. Ajay Devgn was shooting for various projects in Hyderabad from the past few months which made things easy for the veteran actor.
