Rajinikanth as Kaala pulls no punches in the two minute teaser that has unveiled today morning. His swag and style are inimitable and his vintage dialogues offers an absolute treat for his fans.
The teaser starts with the introduction of Nana Patekar, who appears to be a janus-faced politician, asking about what sort of name is Kaala. This leads to the introduction of Rajinikanth, wearing a black doti, who is the saviour of slum-dwellers in Mumbai. The teaser has a couple of action packed elements and gives a glimpse of Huma Qureshi who is playing a crucial role.
The thumping background score provided by Santosh Narayana adds more zing to this massy teaser.
All in all, the first teaser has all ingredients to project the film as a pure commercial potboiler which rides on Rajinikanth’s trademark elements.
Directed by Ranjith Pa, the film is produced by Wunderbar Films and is slated for release on April 27.
