Telugu actors (female) are seldom encouraged. It is only when they try their luck in Tamil or Malayalam films and become successful do our directors notice them and offer them a movie. The ranting continues by the industry folks that there are no Telugu girls and even if we have they state that they aren’t glamorous enough to fit the role. Colours Swati is a sole exception now, but she too tested her luck and gave a couple of hits outside the State to be noticed here. Now Rakshita, mostly known as Anandi is having her fourth release after a long time. The pretty Telugu girl made her mark in Maruti’s Bus Stop and followed it up with two other unsuccessful films. It is a pity that she was a victim of Maruti’s ‘double entendre’ movies and producers refused to cast her as she got branded as a Maruti’s candidate. Now the story is entirely different. Maruti has given a super hit and a clean Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Rakshita is coming back with a dubbed release this week Trisha Ledha Nayantara (on the 6th Nov). The young woman has gone through a make over and is looking extremely pretty. Three of her Tamil films are on the sets. Let us see if our directors give this Telugu beauty another chance and give our Telugu girl her due.
