Rangasthalam, ended up as the year’s biggest hit till date with box office collections that are highest to Ram Charan till date. Not only in the box office numbers, the movie also proved its mettle in 100 days centers. It was released on 30th March, 2018 and completes 100 days on 7th July 2018.
The movie successfully ran 100 days in 15 centers i.e. – Hyderabad, Warangal, Karim nagar, Nizamabad, Adoni, Hindupur, Guntur, Vijayawada, Machilipatnam, Eluru , Rajahmundry, Kakinada , Vizianagaranm , Gajuwaka, Anakapalle.
15 centers might look less when compared to Chiranjeevi’s highest 122 centers (Indra), Balakrishna’s 104 centers (Narasimha Naidu) or Nagarjuna’s 59 centers (Hello brother). However, it is to be remembered those movies all ran in huge centers when there were no piracy, no telecast in TVs in 3 months after release and no Amazon prime. But Rangasthalam successfully ran in 15 centers even after it is streaming in digital platforms and it’s pirated version is downloaded a million times.
And the biggest achievement is all these centers clarify that there were no deficits in their theaters for this movie. That means this movie was not “forcibly run” in theaters for the sake of running it and it’s a genuine hit.
