As Saaho is Prabhas’ immediate next outing after Baahubali franchise, trade circles are betting big on its theatrical rights. The film has already been sold for unbelievable prices in various areas of Telugu states and is expected to record pre release business in remaining areas as well. However, the US rights of Saaho are not yet grabbed by any distributor.
Reportedly, US rights of this Sujeeth directional are pegged at 30 Crores. As Telugu films are going through a dull phase at US box office, no distributor is willing to take risk and snap the rights at such an exorbitant amount. At the quoted price, film needs to collect more than $ 9M to enter the safe zone. It should have exceptional box office run to touch that mark . So, distributors are a little hesitant to bag the US rights. With only two months left for Saaho release, it remains to be seen if any distributor comes forward to shell out 30 Crores for this mega budget action drama.
