Super talented producer Sai Korrapati has been balancing his career by producing big budget mass entertainers along with feel good films that are being made on minimal budget. His recent films as producer Manamantha and Jyo Achyutananda gained critical acclaim and he is currently busy with multiple films. Sai bagged the Ceeded and Vizag rights of Gautamiputra Satakarni and he is the front-runner to produce Nandamuri Mokshagna’s debut movie which will start next year. The interesting update is that Sai Korrapati is all set to bag the Telugu distribution rights of Robo 2.0.
Rajinikanth and Shankar combo Robo has been a smashing hit all over and now the sequel has been carrying massive expectations. The movie is being made on a massive budget of Rs 350 crores and Shankar has been quoting Rs 65 crores for the Telugu version. Though many leading production houses quoted Rs 50 crores to bag the rights, Sai has been much interested to bag the prestigious project. He is in talks with the filmmakers and is said to close the deal soon. Rs 65 crores for a dubbing film is quite expensive. Lyca Productions is producing the movie which will release during Diwali 2017 in 3D.
