Sukumar’s emotional message for Nag Ashwin

Nag Ashwin’s latest offering Mahanati which is the biopic of legendary actress Savitri received exceptional response from the audience all over. Keerthy Suresh’s portrayal as Savitri has been widely lauded. Talented director Sukumar happened to watch Mahanati and he could not wait to appreciate the film. Right after Sukumar stepped out of the theatre after watching Mahanati, he wanted to speak to Nag Ashwin. At this time, a woman walked to Sukumar asking him if he directed the film. Sukumar could not say no and she hugged him in tears appreciating the top director.

Sukumar revealed that he accepted all the love and could not resist that he is not Nag Ashwin. Sukumar shared this experience on his official social media page calling it that he turned Nag Ashwin for minutes. Samantha, Dulquer Salman and Vijay Devarakonda played other pivotal roles in Mahanati which has been produced by Swapna Cinema and Vyjayanthi Movies.
