Tamil actor Suriya is running in a lean phase and his Telugu market reached an all-time low. His recent offering Bandobast is a huge dud and the actor is in plans to regain the market. Though several Telugu filmmakers wished to work with Suriya, none of the projects got materialized. Veteran actor Mohan Babu chaired a meeting recently this week and Suriya attended it in Mohan Babu’s residence.
Writer and director BVS Ravi narrated a script to Suriya and the actor responded positively. A couple of meetings are planned after which Suriya will take the final call. If this happens, BVS Ravi will direct the movie and this will be the first straight Telugu film for Suriya. Writer Gopi Mohan too worked on the script. It is still unclear if Mohan Babu will bankroll this project if things go as per the plan. Suriya as of now is busy with the shoot of Soorarai Pottru in the direction of Sudha Kongara.
