Megastar Chiranjeevi announced that he will be stepping into the shoes of renowned freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy’s role. The movie has been launched officially in August and Surendar Reddy has been asked to direct the film. The regular shoot of the film has been delayed and shoot of the film will start from December 6th in Hyderabad. Massive sets have been erected under the supervision of art director Rajeevan in aluminium factory, Hyderabad. Megastar Chiranjeeevi is currently preparing himself for the role.
150 junior artists from UK have been finalized and they will participate in the shoot during the crucial freedom fighting episodes. Rathnavelu has been finalized as the cinematographer and he will wrap up Rangasthalam 1985 by the end of November and will join the sets of Syeraa. Nayanthara and Pragya Jaiswal have been locked as the female leads and Anushka is in talks for the other female lead in Syeraa. Charan’s Konidela Production Company will bankroll this big budget periodic drama.
