Ramcharan’s Dhruva has entered into 50cr club by the end of its 16th Day. The film has collected 36.8 Cr Share in AP/TG in 16 days and over 7.3Cr From Karnataka and rest of India Markets. The film will Gross around $1.325M by the end of Saturday in USA and overseas share has crossed 6 Cr. 50Cr is not a big achievement for Star heros today as movies as sold for a minimum price of 60cr . Only notable thing for the film is that it has crossed this mark after the demonetization has happened. The film still has an open run till Pongal biggies release and it needs to be seen where it will end up.

Dhruva has showed good growth on Saturday. The film has collected 1.35 Cr distributor Share yesterday taking 9 days total to 32.10 Cr. The trend of increase in occupancies from evening shows was similar to the run it had last Saturday. This clearly shows the affect of Demonetization in weekdays. Today morning shows started on a very good note and the film is expected to cross 34cr distributor share.

The Ram Charan starrer Dhruva had a good first weekend at the overseas box office, but there is still a long way to go for break even. After collecting $ 466K from its opening day ( including premiers), the action drama notched up stunning figures on Saturday – $ 343K and stood in the fourth place of 1st Saturday top Telugu films of 2016. Despite the harsh weather conditions, Dhruva managed a superb haul in all areas on Saturday, making it the highest grosser in Charan’s career.

On Sunday, Dhruva managed to collect $ 146K, taking the total past $ 950K. The film will surpass the magic Million mark probably by Tuesday. Dhruva should collect around $ 1.5 Million for break even, which is a very long way. The next weekend will decide the fate of the overseas distributors. Considering the season and the bad weather conditions, Dhruva performed decently in its first weekend. In Telugu states, the collections are steady over the weekend.

Directed by Surender Reddy, Dhruva is an official remake of Thani Oruvan. Aravind Swamy and Rakul Preet Singh played crucial roles in the film.

Ramcharan – Surender Reddy’s Dhruva has collected a distributor share of 10.57 Cr on it’s opening day in Telugu States. The opening is good in only A centres and multiplexes elsewhere. Online bookings are available in these places which tells about the affect of Demonetization in remaining centres. After the 1st ever show in B & C centres the film has started dropping. This is 2nd biggest opening in Charan’s career. Overall the Opening can be termed as Average.
