Evaru has an average second weekend as the film has collected a worldwide distributor share of 1.20 cr in it’s second weekend. 11 days worldwide total of the film stands at 9.70 cr, The film can be called as an above average/successful venture as it has gone past the overall valued theatrical rights. Real problem with the film especially in Telugu States is after a good extended weekend it has dropped on weekdays and couldn’t pick up much in its second weekend which resulted in very average collections. Evaru has a decent extended first week as the first has collected a worldwide distributor share of over 8.50 Cr. After a good extended weekend the film has dropped on weekdays. It is okay to an extent in Nizam on weekdays which is mainly because of the multiplexes in Hyderabad. The film is a profitable venture in Ceeded & Roi markets so far. It has also gone past the valued rights in Nizam. Now it is very crucial for evaru to do well in the second weekend to breakeven in Andhra & Overseas markets.

Evaru Extended Weekend (4 days) Worldwide Collections – Good
Evaru has a good extended weekend as the film has collected a worldwide distributor share of 7 Cr. After a good opening day the film held well on second day and showed good growth over the weekend. It has done excellent business in Multiplexes. Worldwide theatricals of the film are valued for 9.10 Cr. The film has already equaled the first week worldwide share of Goodachari which had collected 7 Cr and is the highest for Adivi Sesh till date.

US box office : Evaru emerges as hit, Ranarangam is an outright disaster
Two medium budget films Evaru and Ranarangam released last week. While Evaru emerged as a decent hit, Ranarangam turned out to be an outright disaster at the US box office.
Adivi Sesh’s suspense thriller Evaru, which received rave reviews and superb word of mouth from all sections of audience, collected respectable gross in the first weekend in USA. After taking a good start with $ 61K from Wednesday premiers and $ 43K from first day, the film added good numbers in the weekend ( $ 73K on Friday, $ 105K on Saturday) to surpass the quarter million mark. By the end of Sunday, the film is poised to collect close to $ 350K in USA. After scoring success with Kshanam and Godachari, Sesh has once again delivered a box office hit with Evaru.
Sharwanand’s latest gangster drama Ranarangam has come a cropper in the first weekend. The unusual strategy of not screening premiers has backfired bigtime and the film has turned out to be an outright disaster as it failed to collect the theatre expenses by the end of Sunday. The Sudheer Varma directional showed no signs of improvement in the weekend after taking a low start with $ 21K from Thursday. With Friday’s $ 17K and Saturday’s $ 21K, the film continued its disappointing run. As of this writing, Ranarangam collected close to $ 5K on Sunday and is likely to end up with less than $ 75K in the first weekend.
Evaru holds well on Second day – 2 days AP/TS Collections
Evaru has held well on its second day as the film has collected a distributor share of 1.10 cr. This has taken the Telugu States total to 2.70 Cr. The film is holding well all over with multiplexes doing excellent business which is the norm for this type of films. Multiplexes which have played the film in small Audi’s initially are shifting it to bigger Audi’s. The film is expected to hold steady today and show big jump tomorrow.

Evaru Day 1 AP/TS Collections – Highest for Adivi Sesh
Evaru has taken a good opening in Telugu States as the film has collected a distributor share of 1.65 Cr. This is the highest opening ever for Adivi Sesh by a huge margin as it has surpassed Goodachari which had collected 0.62 cr share. After a slow start (B,C centres) in the morning shows the film has picked up with every show passing by. Theatrical rights of the film in Telugu States are valued for 7 Cr. Evaru is carrying good reports among the audience.

US box office : Adivi Sesh gets career best openings
Adivi Sesh turned out to be a reliable actor after scoring box office hits like Kshanam and Goodachari. His latest thriller film Evaru opened well on Independence day and secured good reviews and word of mouth from audience all over.
In overseas, Evaru opened on a promising note with $61K from 93 locations on its Wednesday premiers. This is the career best opener for Sesh as it surpassed the premiers of his previous highest Goodachari ( 50K). The intriguing promos and Sesh’s track record have generated decent buzz on Evaru among overseas audience. With encouraging reviews and glowing word of mouth, Evaru might have a strong weekend at the US box office.
Directed by Venkat Ramji, Evaru is billed as a whodunit with gripping narration. Regina Cassandra played a significant role in it. PVP Cinema has produced the film.
