Bhaagamathie director’s next an International Periodic Drama

1

Pilla Zamindar fame G Ashok took enough time to carve out Bhaagamathie for which his work has been appreciated. With Bhaagamathie turning a huge money spinner, the young director has been flooded with offers and he decided to step out with an interesting periodic drama that is set during the British era in 1914. This International project has been titled ‘1914 Komagata Maru’ which is named after a historic event that took place with the same name.

Komagata Maru 1914 is all about a Japanese steamship which has been planned to enter Canada waters but denied entry. G Ashok is quite excited about directing this project and the pre-production work is currently on cards. Pen N Camera International along with Canadian Film Council will produce this big budget international project that will be made in several languages. More details about the project to be announced officially soon.

Did Cameraman Madhie ghost direct Bhaagamathie?

Young director G Ashok shot fame with Nani’s Pilla Jamindar but soon the debacle in the form of Sukumarudu left Ashok with no offers. The young director after a huge gap planned a film with Victory Venkatesh which did not work out. Finally, he managed to impress Anushka with the script of Bhaagamathie. The film took five complete years to shape up and is finally hitting the screens on January 26th.

Bhaagamathie has been carrying decent expectations but no one has firm belief in the calibre of G Ashok. There are several speculations about the project that G Ashok has been named as the film’s producer but it the cinematographer Madhie who ghost directed this prestigious project. There are talks that Madhie along with the co-directors and his associates wrapped up the shoot and Ashok had to turn a spectator on the film’s sets. UV Creations loved the script but they were not sure about G Ashok’s capabilities to pump out huge money.

Ashok too was keen on directing the script because of which UV Creations played a nice trick. We have to wait till the Republic Day weekend for the film’s result and the impact Bhaagamathie will have on Ashok’s career.
