Back to back shocks for RGV

0

Ram Gopal Varma is one director who prefers controversies. To stand in news, he goes to any extent and criticizes everyone. Right from the actors, technicians, politicians and media, everyone was attacked by RGV. He announced two films Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu (Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu) and Beautiful for release. The ace director was left in shock after both the films are struggling to clear the censor formalities. The censor board suggested 92 cuts for Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu and was referred to the revision committee. Though RGV wanted to release the film this week, the film is yet to get the final clearance.

When it comes to Beautiful, the censor officials are yet to watch and clear the film. RGV lost hopes on both the films as there were no interesting offers from the buyers. The Christmas season starts next week and Venky Mama is hitting the screens on December 13th. It will be followed by a series of films for the entire month followed by Sankranthi. It is now completely impossible for RGV to find screens and release Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu, Beautiful in the coming weeks.

Many sequences to be cut from RGV’s KRKR

Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial film ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’ is stuck at the censor board. The film has been referred to the revising committee. But sources say even the committee might order many scenes to be deleted. Because the film has many references to caste, which even the court doesn’t allow. Any scenes that flame unrest in the society or talk lowly about any caste will not be entertained.

The board members had suggested 50 cuts in the film but RGV refused to accept them. Now, the revising committee will watch it but the movie may not pass without cuts here as well. A crucial scene in the first half will have to be chopped off entirely to get the clearance, a source adds.

The board is not encouraging Ram Gopal Varma’s overtures these days. His gimmicks are showing a boomerang effect.

RGV’s KRKR goes for revising committee

Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’ has landed in trouble further. The Censor Board members watched the film and refused to grant censor certificate as is. The members recommended it for the revising committee to watch before taking a final decision about the censor clearance. Now the ball is in the court of revising committee.

The film was to release on November 29 but it has been postponed. Telangana High Court directed CBFC to watch the film in a week. Now, the committee will take a decision.

RGV came forward to change the title voluntarily but the board members felt the film has highly objectionable dialogues about various politicians and against certain castes.

High Court’s red signal to Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu

In a shocking twist, Censor Board sought more than a week’s time to give the censor clearance to Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’ forcing the makers to postpone the movie. The film was scheduled for release on November 29.

The film has now been postponed.

On Thursday, Telangana High Court took up the hearing on the case filed against the movie. CBFC officials have informed the High Court that the film was not censored yet. From title to the scenes, many scenes will undergo the scissors of Board now. RGV and his producers requested the court to pass the orders to the board to give clearance in a day but the judge has asked CBFC to clear the movie in a week.

RGV’s cheap publicity gimmicks have not worked this time.

KA Paul files a complaint against RGV

From the past few weeks, director Ram Gopal Varma made fun of KA Paul directly through his next film Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu. A song on KA Paul too has been released which criticized KA Paul directly. KA Paul who has been inactive in the recent times filed a petition against Ram Gopal Varma in the High Court. He claimed that he was defamed through the film Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu.

KA Paul asked the High Court to stall the film’s release as the film triggers several controversies. The High Court will take a call on this and will announce their decision soon. Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu is slated for release on November 29th across the globe.

Ram Gopal Varma waiting for a Buyer

0

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma lost pace over the years and not a single film ended up impressive. After Lakshmi’s NTR ended up as a huge dud, he is focused on ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’ which seems to be one more cheap marketing trick from RGV that lacks strong and interesting content. The trailer of the film has been released but it made no noise. The poor content and the cheap production values made it to the news. RGV took his social media page to post much but this did not generate enough buzz.

Gone are the days, media was enthusiastic to post every move of RGV. But this time, things are opposite and the media did not react much about his next film Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu. RGV is in plans to release the film on November 30th but the film is lagging behind in buzz. Not a single buyer approached RGV till date. We have to wait to see if RGV steps out one more new marketing strategy to cheat the buyers and audience through Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu.
