Story

SK (Siva Karthikeyan) dreams of becoming a film star. He gets attracted to Kavya (Keerthy Suresh) and fall in oneside love. He practises to play a nurse role in a film and continues in the same disguise as he gets close to Kavya as a nurse. Kavya too mistakes him for a nurse. However SK comes to know that Kavya is already engaged. REMO is all about whether SK sacrifices or saves his love.

Performances

Siva Karthikeyan is the star attraction in the film as SK and REMO. He performed both the roles in a commendable manner. He looked manly as SK and womanly as REMO. Siva Karthikeyan’s body language leaves all in splits of laughter. He keeps viewers engaged with his performance.

Keerthy Suresh looked more beautiful than in Neu sailaja. However she over did her expressions. except for these two, one cannot bear the dialogue delivery and expressions of others. Saranya who attracted with her decent performance as mother in Dhanush’s Raghuvaran B.Tech, surprises by doing over action in this film.

Technical team

This film can be used as an example on how technicians beautify an ordinary film . PC.Sreeram beautified each and every scene with his beautiful cinematography. One can watch the film for the color combination. Anirudh created magic with his music. Songs are ok. Director surprised with a ordinary story without any twists and turns and completed it in a casual manner. No hero will agree to do such flat story as many films with this plot. Many scenes which tested the patience of viewers in the second half could have been deleted.

Analysis

People wonder how Dil Raju got attracted with this story and how he passed statement that the film will be a super hit. REMO came with routine point and Venkatesh patented stories where hero loves heroine who is already engaged and then winning her over. Viewers already watched heroes donning woman role in various films like Madam,Chitram Bhalare Vichitram, Bhamane Satyabhamane. All those had confusion and situation comedy. However REMO missed both of them which turned out to be biggest drawback.

The way story started, introduction of characters, hero getting near to heroine as REMO and hospital scenes are all entertaining but there is no story in the first half. But viewers will watch as there are few comedy scnes and colorful picturisation.

People take time to accept Siva Karthikeyan as hero. However after getting connected he looks as other Telugu heroes. Secocnd half is full of hero,heroine love story with full of more than adequate songs. All the scenes are predictable and Telugu viewers donot like the ordinary twist in the pre climax as they are used to many thrillers.

Lack of villain and no targets for hero to gain his love is the biggest draw back. Dialogues which workedout in Tamil looked average in Telugu due to accent problem. Tamil comedy, PC.Sriram’s cinematography, Keerthy Suresh’s beauty makes viewers watch the film for once.Except that REMO is a big minus.
