Actors Mahesh Babu, Khusbhu Sundar, Mammootty and Mohanlal were among those who wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.

Taking to Twitter, Telugu star Mahesh Babu said: “Birthday greetings to our hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi! Wishing you great health, happiness and continued success.”

Actress and producer Khushbu, who is also a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said: “You need a vision. You need a will. You ought to have a dream. You need determination to bring in a change. And you have it all Sir.

“Thank you for transforming India into a nation to reckon with. Gratitude. Wishing you honourablle PM Shri Narendra Modi ji a very happy birthday.”

Malayalam superstar Mammootty wrote: “Birthday Wishes to Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra ModiJi.”

The other superstar of Malayalam cinema, Mohanlal, also took to Twitter to wish the Prime Minister. ” Warmest birthday wishes and much love to our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji. May you have a blessed year filled with good health, happiness, and more success.”

Khushbu Sundar shares glimpse of her weight loss transformation

South star and politician Khushbu Sundar has shared a glimpse on social media of her incredible transformation after losing 15 kgs.

An avid social media user, Khushbu took to Instagram, where she shared a before-and-after picture of herself.

For the caption, she wrote: “Then and now!! Not much of a difference, except 15 kgs lesser now.”

Her transformation picture on the photo-sharing website currently has 374,000 likes.

Khushbu, who started as a child artiste in Bollywood in the eighties, made her debut in a lead role opposite Jackie Shroff in the 1985 release ‘Jaanoo’.

She went on to achieve superstardom in south Indian films.

Khushbu has appeared opposite top stars such as Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijayakanth, Sarath Kumar, Chiranjeevi, Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Sathyaraj and Prabhu, among others.

She will next be seen sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in the upcoming Tamil film ‘Annaatthe’. In Telugu, she will be seen in ‘Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu’.

The team of Telugu film ‘Aadavaallu Meeku Johaarlu’ welcomed actresses Khushbu, Radhika Sarathkumar and Urvashi.

According to the film’s production team, the three characters are very decisive for the film. The film’s shooting is progressing in Hyderabad and Khushbu, Radhika Sarathkumar and Urvashi have also joined the team.

The film is headlined by actors Sharwanand and Rashmika Mandanna and is directed by Tirumala Kishore.

The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri on Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner.

The shooting recently resumed here after being stopped due to the lockdown. Sujith Sarang is handling cinematography and Sreekar Prasad who won several national awards is the editor.

Rajinikanth prefers veteran actresses

Superstar Rajinikanth is one actor who is quite sensible and prefers to go along with the script instead of taking his own calls. In a surprising move, the actor worked with Simran in Petta and the latest update says that the actor is all set to work with veteran actress Khushbu in his next film. Siruthai Siva is all set to direct Rajinikanth in his next and the pre-production work is currently in final stages.

Khushbu has been away from films for some time and she is making her comeback with Rajinikanth’s film. If the latest speculations are to be believed, Khushbu is the only lead actress in the film and she will have a full-fledged role. The regular shoot of this untitled film starts on December 5th. D Imman will compose the tunes and Sun Pictures are on board to bankroll this project. Rajinikanth recently completed his work for Darbar which will release during Sankranthi 2020.

Chiranjeevi bonds with yesteryear colleagues on China trip

Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has been out of the country for over a week, bonded with colleagues from yesteryear on a trip to China.

Actress Radikaa Sarath Kumar, who was also part of the trip tweeted the pictures on Thursday.

“Unforgettable, memorable trip with friends to China. Memories for life,” she wrote, and also shared a few pictures from the trip.

Going by the pictures, Chiranjeevi was accompanied by his wife.

Also present on the trip were Khushbu, Lissy, Bhagyaraj and Poornima Bhagyaraj among a few others.

“Chiranjeevi sir left to China on May 30th. He returns to Hyderabad tonight. It was a week-long trip to China,” a source close to the star told IANS.

Basking in the success of “Khaidi No 150”, Chiranjeevi will commence shooting for his next yet-untitled Telugu project from August.
