Mohan Babu committing massive education fraud under a mask?

0

AP Planning Board Vice Chairman C Kutumba Rao issued a strong counter to actor Mohan Babu’s son Manchu Manoj on the latter’s social media post passing objectionable comments.

Kutumba Rao accused Mohan Babu of committing a massive education fraud in the name of his four Sri Vidyaniketan institutions for engineering, pharmacy, management and degree courses.

Mohan Babu doesn’t even pay full salaries to the qualified teaching staff as per the accreditation norms as per the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Lecturers and professors are given meagre salaries as the actor runs the institution like a proprietary concern.

Mr Rao said that Mohan Babu illegally showed Reddy students under Kapu category which led to his institutions becoming ineligible for getting fee reimbursement of Rs 5.16 cr for the last two years. Contrary to his claims of providing free education to 25 per cent students, Mohan Babu is committing irregularities to claim fee reimbursement for the same and he is collecting Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh towards management seats. The AFRC fee structure norms are being violated as they are collecting Rs 10,000 building fee annually from each student and also Rs 15000 towards training and placement in the final year.

Mr Rao said that the worst part is that Mohan Babu’s institutions are inviting bogus companies to conduct fake jobs placements as the students will get only paper placement orders but will not be given real appointments in genuine offices. Mohan Babu is collecting goodwill from the shops and vendors outside the entrance gate of his institutions and he is also not paying panchayat taxes to the local body.

Kutumba Rao bomb on Modi: Essar-Roseneft deal was the biggest scam by Modi

AP planning commission DY.Chairman Kutumba rao exploded a bomb today by making strong allegations on Modi during Essar oil and Roseneft deal.

The deal:

Essar Global Fund Limited is an Indian conglomerate group and this debt-laden company sold its Essar Oil unit to Russia’s Rosneft, giving the energy giant a gateway into the world’s fastest growing fuel market. On October, 2016, Rosneft bought 49% stake in Essar Oil of India, along with Russian investment fund United Capital, in a deal worth $13 billion. It was one of the largest inflow of foreign direct investments into India.

Kutumba Rao allegations:

Kutumba Rao made strong allegations on Modi and indicated he has direct involvement in this scam. His allegations as below:

  • As per 2016 balance sheet, Essar oil had worth of only Rs 3500 crore. How come it was sold for Rs. 75,000 crore in December 2016?
  • Essar was acquired by Roseneft and equities of Roseneft were bought by a Qatar company and another company from China bought equities from this Qatar company. Later, China government arrested these representatives of the China company and Modi went to China during that time.
  • The Russian minister who was part of this deal also is now in jail.
  • Entire deal happended in the presence of Modi and the deal was shown as G2G (Government to Government) deal while it was just B2B (business to business) deal.
  • Investors lost because of this deal.
  • India received no tax income from this deal.

Kutumba Rao also told, he has got all required evidences and information regarding this scam and will reveal all the info soon. Revealing this info exactly on the day of Parliament sessions is really a master stroke. But we’ll have to wait and see how the political parties across the country will respond to this.

Is Kutumba Rao doing Parakala’s role now?

0

AP State Planning Board vice-chairman C Kutumba Rao is seen more these days in the media criticising the Bharatiya Janata Party and the YSR Congress. He is coming before the media almost every day to counter the criticism on the government. He looks like he is representing the political party rather than holding a nominated post.

Holding the nominated post of State Planning Board vice-chairman, Kutumba Rao is justified if he limits his statements to the spending and receiving of funds between the State and the Centre. People will accept him if he clarifies on the utilisation of funds given by the Central government to the State in the last four years. There is a contradiction on this between the TDP and the BJP, with the latter claiming to have given more and the former not receiving any money.

BJP’s new MP G V L Narasimha Rao is seen more on the news channel screens criticising the TDP for misuse of funds. As if there is no potential material in the TDP, the Chief Minister is understood to have assigned this task of hitting back at GVL to the planning board vice-chairman. The planning board vice-chairman is going several steps forward to make political comments against GVL. While it is to be seen if Kutumba Rao’s political appearance on behalf of the government will be of any help to Chandrababu Naidu or not, people are drawing similarities now to how Government’s media advisor Parakala Prabhakar had done in the past.

Parakala, once a disciple of late P V Narasimha Rao, is considered a political strategist with some useful stuff. He was honoured and widely respected by Chiranjeevi and other leaders when he joined the Praja Rajyam Party in 2009. But, at one point of time, Parakala went to the extent of holding a press conference in the Praja Rajyam Party office itself and criticised Chiranjeevi before quitting the party. This act of Parakala had brought down his image among the political observers.

Later, when he joined the Telugu Desam government in the State after the 2014 election, he was not just a media advisor but was taken as a political strategist for the government. It was for this reason, he grabbed the chance to counter the critics when the Note for Vote case had hit the headlines in 2015. In a hurry to prove himself as a quality material, he made some comments in the media about the case and that had finally led Chandrababu Naidu to leave the common capital and start working in Vijayawada. The Chief Minister who dared the Telangana government of having his own police stations in Hyderabad to protect himself and his party and who pledged to stay for 10 years in the common capital and bring TDP to power in the two Telugu States, had to leave the capital overnight in a bus and stayed in the bus for two days before the camp office was ready.

What Parakala’s aggressiveness had done to Chandrababu Naidu in 2015 is likely to be repeated with Kutumba Rao playing Parakala’s role now.
