‘ Next Nuvve ‘ is yet another run of the mill , farcical movie in the name of ‘ Comedy Horror ‘ genre. Aimed at mass audience, comedy works only in parts. Horror part is poorly executed with no quality in this cliched story film. New Director ETV Prabhakar has shown no mark.

Positives : Brahmaji character , some double entendre comedy , Aadi is OK as Resort owner. Rashi Gautam appeals to masses

Among numerous releases this week, young hero Aadi’s Next Nuvve is garnering decent attention from trade circles and audience, thanks to the strong promotions by the production house.

Next Nuvve is tipped to be a horror comedy with an interesting plot point. The film has Vaibhavi Sandilya and popular TV host Rashmi in crucial roles. Comedians Jaya Prakash Reddy, Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji are essaying humours roles in this film which marks the directional debut of ETV anchor Prabhakar. Young composer Sai Kartheek rendered the soundtrack for the film.

Bunny Vas is the producer and the film is gearing up for a decent release tomorrow.

Let’s see if Next Nuvve can withstand the flurry of releases this Friday and emerge as a winner at the box office.

Siddipet Sub-Inspector suicide related to Hyderabad beautician’s murder ?

A sub-inspector (SI) at Kukunoorpally police station shot himself with service revolver and ended his life, in the police quarters of the Siddipet police commissionerate. The deceased identified as Prabhakar Reddy was found this morning with a bullet injury to the head. In just over a year, this is third suicide by a sub-inspector in the commissionerate.

In another incident, 28-year-old beautician Arumilli Vijay Lakshmi alias Sireesha’s body was recovered from a photography studio where she was working as an employee, in Film Nagar.

Reports surfaced that SI’s suicide was an outcome of Sirisha’s killing. The beautician’s friends claim that both the deceased had close relationship. Rajeev, Sirisha and Tejaswini went to Kukunoor on Sunday. After celebrations in a guest house, the drunk SI allegedly raped Sirisha and was afraid of the dire consequences. Subsequently, a depressed Sirisha committed suicide.

In Sirisha’s suicide note, she seemingly mentioned about the assault. Sravan who has been a critical witness in this case revealed the details. Police are interrogating Sravan and Rajeev.

On the contrary, the family of the SI has been contending that he has ended his life due to harassment from seniors. The family and relatives of Prabhakar staged a protest in front of the police station blocking the road. However, the TV reports angered the relatives of Prabhakar who allegedly set fire to NTV’s OB Van for airing fake news.

His predecessor T Ramakrishna Reddy shot himself with his service revolver at the same quarters purportedly due to harassment from superiors. Telangana Director General of Police Anurag Sharma has ordered an inquiry into the incident

‘Baahubali’ fame Prabhakar plays baddie in Prabhudheva’s next

Remember Prabhakar, who played the menacing leader of the savage group Kalakeya in the first part of “Baahubali”? He plays the antagonist in actor-filmmaker Prabhudheva’s upcoming Tamil film “Yung Mung Sung”.

“Prabhakar plays the villain. I can’t spoil the fun by talking about his character now but I can assure you he doesn’t play the typical antagonist,” the film’s director M.S Arjun told IANS.

In the film, Prabhudheva plays a stunt master.

Talking about the project, he said: “It’s going to be an action a la the 1980s martial arts film. Prabhudheva sir will be undergoing kung fu classes. We will travel to China soon where he will learn from real masters.”

Also starring Lakshmi Menon, RJ Balaji and Ashwin, the film is inching closer to completion.

“With the China schedule, we will wrap up the project. Audiences will get to see Prabhudheva sir’s comical side too and he has done a fabulous job,” he said.
