Game Changer team disappoints again

Mega fans have been trolling Dil Raju and his production house Sri Venkateswara Creations for not posting any updates about Ram Charan’s Game Changer. The film is delayed by years and Shankar is yet to give a clarity about the release. Ram Charan shared the latest poster about the release of the second single in September. Everyone expected that the team will officially announce the release date of Game Changer but the team disappointed everyone again. It is now clear that Shankar hasn’t given any solid update about the release date to Dil Raju. During several occasions, Dil Raju made it clear that Shankar will take a call on the release date of the film.

For now, it is unclear if Game Changer will hit the screens on December 20th or if it will be pushed to next year. The only good news for Mega fans is that the next single will be out in September. But in a sudden shock, Vijay Sethupathi declined the opportunity as he is not much interested to do father roles.

Vijay Sethupathi was approached to play Ram Charan’s father in RC16 but Vijay Sethupathi rejected the role. He said that he wants to explore different roles citing that he played the roles of father in Uppena and Maharaja. Buchi Babu then approached Kannada Superstar Shivraj Kumar for the role and locked him. The team also made an announcement for the same. Vijay Sethupathi was also offered a huge remuneration but he was not in a mood to sign the project. The shoot of RC16 is expected to commence in October or November. It is close to three years and the shoot is yet to be wrapped up. Dil Raju has been bearing the financial stress and the heaping up interests without uttering a word. Ram Charan is finally relieved from the shoot and all the other episodes are shot from a month.

After watching the rough cut, Shankar wanted to reshoot some of the portions and he informed the same to Dil Raju. He wanted Ram Charan for 4-5 days to complete the reshoot. Shankar’s film happens on a large scale with a number of actors, technicians and hundreds of crew members. It would be a huge challenge for Dil Raju to now attain the dates of the actors and he has to spend more for the reshoots. This is an extra financial burden for the entire team who thought that the major part of Game Changer shoot was wrapped up. Icon star Allu Arjun donated Rs 25 lakh for Wayanad victims, as the landslide tragedy left the God’s own country devastated. Allu Arjun donated the amount to Kerala Chief Minister Relief Fund, as an aid for relief and rebuilding works.

According to the news reports received from Kerala till now, about 357 people have lost lives and more deaths are expected, as still about 200 persons are missing. While the Army and Disaster Management teams are working round the clock in rescue and relief operations, the situation at hospitals is heart wrenching. The sight of injured, sobs of family members who have lost their near and dear, present a gloomy picture.

The assessment of property damage is yet to be done, but it is clear that Kerala need external support to come out of this tragedy. Rising up to the occasion, celebrities and influential people and organisations from across states are donating for Kerala CM Relief Fund.

Telugu stars Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan together donated Rs 1 Cr for Wayanad landslide victims. Expressing deep anguish over the unprecedented tragedy, Chiranjeevi announced that Rs 1 Cr will be donated to Kerala Chief Minister Relief Fund.

“Deeply distressed by the devastation and loss of hundreds of precious lives in Kerala due to nature’s fury in the last few days. My heart goes out to the victims of the Wayanad tragedy. Charan and I together are contributing Rs 1 Crore to the Kerala CM Relief Fund as a token of our support to the victims. My prayers for the recovery of all those in pain,” said Chiranjeevi in his X post on Sunday.
