Sankranti 2019 is going to witness the clash of big ticket films Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramlo which stars Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun respectively. The shooting formalities of both these films are on the verge of completion as they are going to wrap up the remaining portions soon.

Sarileru Neekevvaru team will kick start Kerala schedule from 5th in which some key scenes will be shot in the picturesque locales of Pollachi town. With this schedule, majority of talkie part will be done and dusted. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film also stars Vijaya Shanthi in a significant role and has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. Mahesh Babu will be seen as an army Major in this film.

Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramlo will be shot in Europe from November 12th. A beautiful romantic song will be canned between the lead pair. The team will return to Hyderabad in a couple of weeks to wrap up the patch work. Pooja Hegde and Nivetha Pethuraj are the female leads.

Both these biggies will lock horns at box office on January 12th.
