DSP for NTR Trivikram movie

The Trivikram – DSP combination weaved magic with chartbuster albums for a bunch of films. However, the duo parted ways since A..Aa due to some personal reasons. For Agnyathaavaasi, Trivikram imported Tamil composer Anirudh Ravichander. Impressed with Anirudh’s work, he decided to continue this combo for his next film which stars NTR in the lead.

Ever since Agnyathaavaasi released, there have been numerous reports that NTR suggested to change the composer for his film. It has been widely speculated that Trivikram might reunite with DSP.

A close source to the unit revealed that DSP has been finalized to compose for NTR- Trivikram film. Also, it is believed that Trivikram is considering to change his technical team and staff for this project.

The regular shooting will commence from the third week of February.

Young Tiger has been in talks to work with top director Trivikram Srinivas. The project did not materialize as the duo got busy with their commitments and now finally the project is happening. Trivikram’s recent outing Agnyaathavaasi bombed badly at the box-office and the top writer turned director has been badly criticised for the work. This Pawan Kalyan film is racing towards the biggest disaster in the history of Tollywood. Tarak’s fans are worried about Trivikram directing their favourite hero and there have been wide speculations that the actor may walk out of this prestigious project.

Tarak, Trivikram and the film’s producer S Radha Krishna met last evening and Tarak is said to have given a free hand to Trivikram. He asked the ace director to take his time, pen the script and plan the schedules. Trivikram is currently busy with the final draft and the regular shoot of this untitled film will start from March this year. Tarak wanted Devi Sri Prasad to compose the tunes for the film and he asked Trivikram to re-consider the decision of roping in Anirudh. Though Anirudh’s music has been decent and the background score getting exceptional response, Tarak is keen on Devi Sri Prasad for the project and an announcement will be out soon.

Trivikram calls on TS Minister

Prominent Film Director Mr. Trivikram Srinivas on Saturday called on Telangana Cinematography Minister Mr. Talasani Srinivas Yadav along with Producer Mr. Radha Krishna and Film Development Corporation Chariman Mr. Rammohan Rao.

Both the director and the producer requested the minister to watch ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ which is scheduled to be released on Wednesday (Jan 10).

Responding to their request, the minister said he must watch the movie and expressed his hope that the movie will get good success. The minister further said that fans are waiting for the release of the movie.

Trivikram to wrap up two films in 2018, aiming Sankranthi again ?

Ace filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas is awaiting the release of his forthcoming film Agnathavasi which is slated to hit the screens for this Sankranthi. He will quickly move to his next project which will star NTR in the lead role. The regular shooting will commence from February end and the film is likely to be wrapped up by August.

Soon after completing NTR’s film, the ‘Wizard of Words’ will commence shooting for senior star Venkatesh’s film which was announced a few weeks ago. As per the sources, the film will start rolling in August and will be completed in quick time by the end of December. Sources say that producer S. Radha Krishna and Trivikram are aiming to release Venky’s film for Sankranthi 2019.

If they manage to release the film as per plans, it will be back to back Sankranthi releases for Trivikram Srinivas and Haarika and Haasine creations. It is believed that the film will be an official remake of Bollywood film Jolly LLB 2 which starred Akshay Kumar as the protagonist.

Comedian-turned-actor Sunil, who is desperate to make his presence felt in Tollywood as a hero, is now testing his luck once again with the remake of 2 Countries which is set for release today. During recent media interactions, Sunil revealed that he was supposed to appear in a brief role in Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyaathavasi, which has his close friend Trivikram Srinivas as the director, but missed out as the character designed for him didn’t shape up in a convincing manner.

Speaking further, Sunil said he is likely to come on board for Trivikram’s next project which will have NTR in the lead role. Both NTR and Trivikram will come together for the first time and the film is tipped to be a full length entertainer. Ever since the project was officially announced, there have been speculations that Sunil will play a crucial role in the film. However, there was no official confirmation about this till now. Now, as Sunil dropped enough hints about the collaboration, it remains to be seen if it will be a full-fledged role or a brief one.

The regular shooting of this untitled film will commence next year.

The buzz that Victory Venkatesh will be teaming up with Maatala Mantrikudu Trivikram brought up many anticipations about the project. Despite some serious disturbances and even speculations that the film will be shelved as well, a wave of relief came up when it was announced that the film is on.

Telugu film fraternity as well as common audience was eagerly anticipating about the brilliant output which would come with Trivikram’s timely punches and Venkatsh’s comedy timing. But the latest update is a sheer disappointment to many. Apparently, this film will be a remake of Bollywood flick Jolly LLB 2 which had Akshay Kumar in the lead.

Though Venky made the remake of Akshay Kumar’s earlier film Oh My God as Gopala Gopala in Telugu, there are many eyebrows raised on this decision. The main reason for mixed reactions is that- Jolly LLB 2 got lukewarm response and apart from Akshay’s acting, there was nothing much to talk about. Why would a talented filmmaker like Trivikram opt for a remake of this sort- is another aspect to ponder on. However, Trivikram is yet to begin working on this project and before that, he needs to finish the current project Agynaathavaasi along with his next film with Jr. NTR.

Another buzz says that the film will be made at a shoestring budget of 10 crore. The speculations also say Jolly LLB 2 remake is only one particular option which the makers have. If there is a prospect of a new story, this would definitely go off the cards!

Pawan kalyan’s “Agnyaathavasi” is slated to release on 10th January and it has great hype and expectations from industry as well as audience. The teaser released last week showcased Pawan in a stylish manner and it has struck right chords with the audience and fans. However, the teaser reminded the movie “Attarintiki Daredi” , which is a stupendous hit in the combination of Pawan and Trivikram.

Actually it is very common for the heroes to repeat the directors that gave them super hits. But sometimes, directors commit the mistake of delivering more or less similar content next time too. For example, Mahesh Babu repeated Srinu Vaitla fwho gave him biggest blockbuster “Dookudu”. They attempted to repeat the magic with the movie Aagadu, but failed as, instead of repeating the magic, they repeated the pattern and form of entertainment. Audience felt the lack of novelty in the subject and movie disappointed the audience. But before release of “Aagadu”, the hype that surrounded the movie was similar to the buzz surrounding “Agnyaathavasi” now. When Aagadu’s trailer was released first time, that was also instantaneous hit but the majority of audience opined that the trailer resembled and reminded heavily their previous hit Dookudu.

PK-Trivikram’s combination also had an industry hit in the form of Attarintiki Daredi movie. Agnathavasi movie is coming after that industry hit movie. So obviously there is lot of hype. But “Agnyaathavasi” teaser reminding Attarintiki Daredi movie seems to be a danger signal because if the movie has too many similarities and follows the same pattern of entertainment of “Attarintiki Daredi”, definitely audience will feel the lack of the novelty and feel monotony.If that happens really, that would be definitely the number 1 villain for the movie prospects.

On the other hand, Pawan is currently riding high and his craze is at peaks now despite the flops in last 2 years. So his fans believe, if the movie has reasonably good content, PK’s image will pull it to the next level. We have to wait and see what kind of movie Trivikram going to deliver.

Anyway, tomorrow trailer of the movie is expected to be out. Audience will get more clarity once the trailer is out!!!
