More than 50% of Rana Daggubati’s upcoming project Viraata Parvam is shot across the thick forests of Kerala, Vikarabad and Warangal. The entire movie unit was shooting for the film in a Kerala forest some time ago when a bunch of elephants rushed towards the movie unit just before pack up. The entire unit rushed for their lives leaving the equipment on spot. Rana just left the spot and the film’s director Venu Udugula and the female lead Sai Pallavi were present when the incident took place.

A bunch of 20 elephants rushed towards the movie unit. Everyone was left scared and had to run to save their lives. No one was hurt and the unit was left relieved. This was a lucky escape for the entire movie unit of Viraata Parvam. The film is a social drama and eight days of shoot is left pending. Viraata Parvam will have its release later this year. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri are jointly producing this film.

Rana Daggubati has been in the news because of his health issues. After a brief break, the actor returned back to work and started the shoot of his next film which is titled Virata Parvam. The film is directed by Venu Udugula and Sai Pallavi is the leading lady. An action episode is canned across the forests of Vikarabad for ten days. Rana Daggubati essays the role of a ruthless cop in this social drama. The actor will be intensely trained for the role. A retired top-level cop has been hired to train Rana for the role.

Rana Daggubati will undergo training in rifle shooting along with how to use combat weapons. Several other techniques will be taught for him as Rana Daggubati wishes to be perfect in the assignment. Virata Parvam will release across the globe during summer and is jointly produced by Suresh Babu, Sudhakar Cherukuri.

Despite of several speculations about his health, Rana Daggubati kept tightlipped. He is in USA from the past couple of months and the actor said that he is in talks with Hollywood studios for the VFX work of his next film Hiranyakashyapa that will roll next year. There are a lot of speculations that his next film Virata Parvam is shelved. But the real news is that Rana will be returning back to the country during the first week of October.

Rana will immediately join the shoot of Virata Parvam and will complete the shoot without breaks. Some of the films which are in discussion stages will be finalized and Rana will make some big announcements for Dasara. He is in plans to produce a bunch of concept-based films. Rana will also join hands with Milind Rau for a horror film that will roll during the end of this year.

Tollywood’s handsome hunk Rana Daggubati has been in talks for ‘Virata Parvam 1992’ which is a social drama that will be directed by Venu Udugula. The film is currently in final stages of pre-production and Sai Pallavi is on board to play the female lead in this periodic drama.

Veteran actress Vijayashanti has been roped in for a crucial role in Virata Parvam 1992 and she initially gave her nod. But now, Vijayashanti is occupied with various other works and walked out of the project. One more veteran actress Tabu is currently in talks to replace Vijayashanti. Tabu also has been roped in for a crucial role in Allu Arjun’s next film directed by Trivikram.

Venu Udugula and his team are waiting for the arrival of Rana and Sai Pallavi to start Virata Parvam 1992 which will be made on a huge budget.
