There are a lot of rumors going on about the political debut of Tamil Superstar Vijay. Keeping an end to all the speculations, Vijay announced the entry of him into Tamil politics. His party is named Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. The actor will make himself available for full time politics after completing the shoot of his 69th film. Vijay will prepare for the 2026 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. The top actor said that politics is not his other career and he has been preparing to serve the people from a long time.
“The current politics are corrupted and divisive. The people of the state are waiting for a change and some transparent, caste free and corruption free politics” told Vijay. Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam should get an approval from the Election Commission of India along with the party symbol after which Vijay will participate in public meetings in Tamil Nadu. This makes clear that Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam will not contest in the Parliament elections that are due in summer this year.
