TDP Deputy Floor Leader K Atchannaidu, senior MLA Gorantla Bucchaiah Chowdary and others met and complained to Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan against the YCP government. They said that YCP Regime’s failure to monitor flood led to submergence of many habitations, crops, etc in riverside areas. TDP leaders told Governor that YCP leaders deliberately mismanaged flood though the Central Government and Central Water Commission gave flood alerts much in advance.
Bucchaiah Chowdary said that the Prakasam barrage can hold only 3 TMC water but the government didn’t release waters till flood reached 4 TMC. As this huge flood was released at once, the habitations down the stream were badly affected.
TDP leaders told Governor that the YCP leaders engaged private persons to fly secret drones over Chandrababu Naidu’s residence without prior intimation. They said that YCP Regime is trying to cause flood in Amaravati capital city in order to brand it as unviable and then shift the capital to another place at a later time.
