Varma first look

Tollywood’s bold romantic drama Arjun Reddy is remade in Tamil with star hero Vikram’s son Dhruv in the lead role. Titled as Varma, the shooting has been wrapped up and the first look poster has been unveiled today on the eve of Dhruv’s birthday.

The poster features Dhruv riding a bullet with his lady love. He is seen sporting a thick beard in the poster. Though the look is raw, it couldn’t create a same impact like Vijay Devarakonda’s cult look. Telugu audience will feel the look as a little underwhelming given the strong impression created by Arjun Reddy.

Director Bala, who is handling this film,is known for his hard hitting narrative style. So, we have to wait and see if he can match the intensity and rawness of the original version.
