The formal launch of Sreenu Vaitla – Varun Tej’s ‘Mister’ took place a month ago. The regular shooting was supposed to commence by this time,but there is no official word yet on the start date. While there were various reasons said about the delay, close sources to the unit revealed that Varun Tej’s remuneration is the reason behind the delay.
Going into details, Varun Tej has hiked his remuneration to 5 Crores(he took 2 Crores for Loafer) for this film. This has put the makers in a dilemma which is the reason for the delay in commencement of the shoot. It is reliably learnt that Varun Tej is deliberately delaying the shoot as he is keen on working with Sekhar Kammula who has recently announced a film with him. Varun has already signed Sekhar Kammula ‘s film and he is looking to work with him as soon as possible.
So, Varun is finding ways to sideline Sreenu Vaitla ‘s project and start working with Sekhar Kammula. We have to wait for some more time to get some clarity on this news.
