Varun Tej after the super success of F2 took a small break and started shooting for Valmiki directed by Harish Shankar. Varun Tej has been taking Rs 3 crores pay cheque for his films and the actor after F2 ended up as a huge money spinner decided to hike his fee. Varun Tej will be taking Rs 6 crores for Valmiki and the makers too agreed for the fat pay cheque of Varun Tej.
The shoot of the film is happening on a brisk pace in and around Hyderabad. The female lead is yet to be finalized and 14 Reels Plus are the producers. Varun Tej also signed a sports drama in the direction of debutant Kiran. The film presents him as a boxer and the regular shoot starts once Varun Tej wraps up the shoot of Valmiki.
