Victory Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya are teaming up for the first time for an out and out commercial entertainer. Titled Venky Mama, the film got its official launch long ago but the regular shoot is yet to commence. Several gossip websites started speculating that the film has been shelved after the script of the film did not shape well.
Keeping an end to all the speculations, the makers clarified that the film is not shelved and the regular shoot will commence from the second week of November. KS Ravindra (Bobby) is the director and Huma Qureshi, Rakul Preet Singh are the heroines. Suresh Productions, People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation are the producers. Venky Mama will release during the first half of next year.
