YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy made a Twitter attack saying that Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu showed his favouritism by giving the Public Accounts Committee Chairman post to his relative. There are many leaders from the Kapu and backward classes communities expecting the post in TDP but Naidu made the obvious choice. Vijayasai said that this showed how the TDP boss doesn’t care for other communities.
The community-based allegations by YCP and TDP are nothing new. Prior to the last election, YCP leaders came out with allegations of caste-based preferences in promotions and transfers. There is a feeling that Naidu didn’t fully repel that attack from rivals at that time.
Vijayasai also tweeted saying that Rs 22,000 Cr funds were misused with the help of Janmabhoomi Committees and this is a greater scam than even Bihar fodder irregularities and Neeru-Meeru scam. He said that more interesting information would come out with regard to the TDP scams.
