Fortunately or unfortunately, firebrand MLA RK Roja Reddy was nominated as Chairperson of AP Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). Her once favourite comment was ‘Bye Bye Babu’. Now she is replacing it with ‘Bye Bye Industry’. This is surely confirmed going by her latest statement on incentives given by Chandrababu Regime.
Roja Reddy says that their government will not give tax exemptions or benefits to industries. She proudly says that their regime will not give bribes to attract industries. She tells Andhras that industry incentives are nothing but corruption. She dares to say that the existing industries have not created jobs to locals.
Luckily or unluckily, Roja Reddy is famous for her rich sense of political humour. But she is APIIC Chairperson now and she has to send out right signals to industry. But she is sending all wrong signals, just like CM Jagan. She married a Tamilian and emotionally attached to the other side of Andhra border. Jagan has abundant property in Bangalore and Hyderabad but not so much in Amaravati. How can they be expected to understand the aspirations of poor Andhras, who now don’t know whether to laugh or cry at Roja Reddy comment that Jagan Reddy is Bahubali and Minister Gowtham Reddy is Syera Narasimha Reddy? Sadly, the former heroine forgot that both reel life Bahubali and Syera are not from her community.
