Will Nag’s Officer release in May ?

Akkineni Nagarjuna teamed up with director Ram Gopal Varma for a cop drama titled as Officer. The shoot has been wrapped up and the makers have already announced that the film will hit the screens on May 24th. But, the latest developments in film industry put doubts on the release date.

It is well known that Ram Gopal Varma is facing flak from all quarters for instigating controversial actress Sri Reddy to slander Pawan Kalyan. This has led to huge criticism on RGV from both industry bigwigs and audience. Also, there are numerous debates on action to be taken on RGV for his despicable act towards industry.

Amidst all this, speculations are thick and fast that Officer might be postponed until this controversial calms down a bit.

Many top personalities from industry have slammed RGV and proposed for a strict action against him. Nagarjuna is yet to respond on the issue. He is maintaining stoic silence over the controversy. Recently, the teaser of Officer has been launched. But, after the RGV controversy, there is hardly anything heard about the film. There are no updates about the film’s release as well.

So, will Nag have the courage to release the film amidst all these controversies ? or will he postpone it ?
