Yatra happens to be the life story of the legendary leader and ex-Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The film won accolades though it could not end up as a money spinner. Mahi V Raghav is the director and Malayalam actor Mammootty is the lead actor. Now with YSRCP Chief and YSR’s son YS Jaganmohan Reddy sweeping the polls in AP, Mahi V Raghav decided to direct Yatra 2 and the film will be based on YS Jagan’s struggle to emerge as a winner.
Though nothing much has been revealed about the project, Mahi V Raghav is currently working on the script. An official announcement would be made once things are final. As of now, Mahi is developing the idea of YS Jagan’s rise from a young leader who reaches to the Chief Minister’s chair. More details awaited.
